Oswego East is pleased to welcome representatives from numerous top colleges and military brances throughout the year. Students are invited to register to meet with these represetatives to explore their post-secondary plans. All college & military visits are posted in SchooLinks.

 

Please remember in order to attend a college and career visit: 

• You must be passing any class missed. 
• Student is responsible for any missing class work and can NOT attend if a test occurs during the visit time. 
• Student must communicate with their teacher when missing a class for a visit. 

To register to attend:
1. Log into SchooLinks (through MyPortal / Classlinks)
2. Navigate to Engage on the left-hand menu
3. Select Events
4. Click on the event in which you wish to register

Waubonsee Community College is the in-district community college for the majority of Oswego East Students. The new student application can be found here. After allying, students will need to request their official transcripts to be sent to WCC through their SchooLinks account. Students may also need to take placement testing or submit official ACT scores to show college readiness. Financial aid and scholarship information for WCC cna be found here. 

Valley Education for Employment System (VALEES) provides career and technical education (CTE) courses and oversees a variety of state and federal education improvement grants for schools in Kendall county. Students with disabilities and other special populations in the VALEES region can earn industry credentials and education benefits, participate in skill-building workshops and competitions, and connect with business and industry. Parents, guardians, educators and professionals can visit the VALEES website for resources and programs for special populations.
