Principal's Message
It is with great excitement and a deep sense of pride that I write to introduce myself as the new Principal of Oswego East High School. I am honored to join a community so deeply committed to student success, and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout their high school journey.
This will be my 30th year in education, having previously served as a high school history teacher, an athletic director, and assistant principal. I have spent the last 15 years as a principal at both the middle school and high school levels. I am a proud parent of 3 adult aged children, which keeps me grounded in the daily joys and challenges that families face.
High school is a critical time of transition, self-discovery, and preparation for the future. My primary goal is to maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging environment where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that an exceptional education requires a strong bridge between the home and the school. Your insights, support, and collaboration are essential to your child's success, and I am committed to maintaining transparent, open lines of communication with you.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly at bmcpherson@sd308.org, or via the main office at 630-636-2200. Thank you for welcoming me into the Wolf Pack family. I am excited to get started and together, we will make this an outstanding and memorable school year for our students.
