Parking
The online application will be due no later than 2:00 pm on Monday, July 27th.
The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for a Parking Pass:
1. You must meet the Business Office requirements. These requirements include:

No outstanding fee and meal accounts

If you have an outstanding balance on your student’s fee or meal account, you must have an active Payment Plan in PushCoin in place by Wednesday, July 22, 2026, AND at least one payment made.

If the account has an outstanding balance, but does not put a payment plan in place with at least one payment by Wednesday, July 22, 2026, the student will not be eligible for a parking pass.

All families with outstanding balances will receive communication from the Business Office by Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Payment plans must remain current to keep the parking pass throughout the school year. If the payment plan on a student’s account is not current, their parking pass will be revoked, and a prorated rate will be deducted from your outstanding balance.

2. The Parking Permit Application must be completely filled out from the student’s school-issued Google account and submitted by 2:00 pm on Monday, July 27, 2026.
3. A copy of the student’s driver's license or permit and auto insurance must be uploaded in the Parking Permit Application. If these copies are not uploaded in the application, the application cannot be processed. Any junior/senior student with a driver's permit who will have their license by October 1, 2026 will be able to submit an application for full consideration.
4. The Parking Permit costs $200 and must be paid in full when picking up the pass on August 12 or 13, 2026. Payment will only be accepted via cash or credit/debit card at pick-up.
Anyone who does not meet these requirements will not be considered for a parking space.
Business Office requirements will be verified by the Business Office between July 27 and July 30. A parking pass will not be issued, and the student will not be entered into the lottery if their account has an outstanding balance and does not have a payment plan in place with at least one payment made.
Seniors who fulfill the requirements listed above by 2:00 pm on Monday, July 27th will be guaranteed a parking spot. Spaces will be issued on a first come–first serve basis for seniors.
Juniors who fulfill the requirements listed above by 2:00 pm on Monday, July 27th will be placed in a lottery for the remaining parking spaces. Any Juniors not selected for a permit will also be added to a waiting list via lottery. Applications from juniors who are planning to graduate early will be processed as juniors.
Due to limited parking spaces, students who will be Sophomores in 2026-2027 are not eligible for parking permits.
Anyone found to be misrepresenting information in the application will not be eligible for a parking permit, and any permit issued under false pretenses will be revoked.
Please make sure you are filling out the application through the student’s district SD 308 email account to avoid encountering the need for permissions to access the form.

High School Parking Expectations
Parking on campus during school hours is a privilege granted to seniors and juniors (by lottery) students who have obtained a parking permit. Retaining a school parking permit is a privilege that can be revoked at any time. Students who will be a junior or senior during the upcoming school year who have a valid driver's license and insurance are welcome to apply for a parking permit for the school campus or designated parking areas. Those juniors and seniors planning to get their driver's license before October 1 of the upcoming school year are also eligible to apply. All necessary information, including a copy of the driver's license and insurance, must be provided for the application to be considered complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The deadline for submission will be communicated by each high school on the application. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK ON CAMPUS DURING SCHOOL HOURS WITHOUT A PERMIT.
Permit Information and Regulations
- Parking permits are $200 each for the full year. If available, permits may be sold during 2nd semester for $100 each.
- Lost parking permits need to be replaced at the cost of $25.
- Permits must be hung from the rearview mirror facing outward. All vehicles must have a valid permit properly displayed at all times. Failure to display the proper permit may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.
- If you must drive a vehicle other than the vehicle that is registered, you must sign-in the unregistered vehicle in the Dean’s office before school begins. No exceptions! Vehicles that are not signed in may be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Students who consistently fail to adhere to school expectations, choose not to follow the parking rules, or violate school policies may lose their parking privileges and forfeit their parking fee.
- If someone is parked in your space, record the license plate number, park in a visitor’s parking space and report all information to the Dean’s office immediately.
- Juniors planning to graduate early will be considered juniors in this process.

Permit Rules
Students who have purchased a parking permit must adhere to the following rules. If these expectations are not adhered to, students may have their parking pass revoked and forfeit their parking fee.
- The driver of the motor vehicle will adhere to all Illinois Rules of the Road while on school grounds. Careless, reckless, or hazardous driving will not be tolerated.
- Students may only park in their designated spot for student parking.
- Students are expected to exit their vehicles promptly upon parking in the student lot and enter the school building. Students are not to sit in a car during the school day or during any school activity.
- The school is not responsible for lost, stolen, and/or damaged property to any vehicle while on school grounds. Students are expected to keep their vehicles locked at all times.
- In accordance with the Student Rights and Responsibilities, when entering or parking on school property, the driver of the motor vehicle is deemed to consent to a search of the vehicle and its contents by school officials and/or law enforcement when there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that the search will produce evidence that the student has violated or is violating the law or the District's student conduct rules.
- Any student needing to go to their vehicle during the school day MUST be accompanied by an administrator or designee.
- If a student is found parking in another spot other than their own or without an approved parking tag, their vehicle will be subject to tow at the owner's expense.
- The SALE, TRADING or GIVING of parking permits between students is prohibited and will result in loss of current and/or future parking privileges for all parties involved.
- If a parking spot is decorated it MUST be done using SIDEWALK CHALK. “Chalk Paint” is prohibited. No exceptions!
Vehicles not in compliance with registration/parking policies may result in loss of current or future parking privileges and may be towed at the owner’s expense.
